The VP of Human Resources will provide leadership, focus, direction, coaching, and mentoring to our human resources and operational management teams while remaining true to the company’s mission, values, integrity, and culture. - Member of the Jackson Healthcare Human Resources team. Carries out or oversees responsibilities in the following areas: HR metrics and reporting, records maintenance and retention, employee relations and counseling, management counseling and support, exit interviews and related processes, support/coordination with training and development, on-boarding and new hire check-ins, support/coordination with benefits, job and compensation analysis, performance management, organizational development, and employment support.
- Assumes responsibility for the development and implementation of effective human resources strategic planning for assigned Jackson Healthcare Companies.
- Assumes responsibility for the oversight of benefit policies, programs and strategic initiatives.
- Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of human resource functions.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with Company associates and leadership.
- Assumes responsibility for maintaining professional business relations with vendors, suppliers, trade professionals, etc.
- Works as a Business Partner with the assigned Jackson Healthcare companies.
- Works with the Executive Vice President of Human Resources, Executives, and other team members with special projects as needed.
- Provides ongoing training in the areas of performance coaching, employee relations, compliance, Employee Handbook guidelines, and key policies regarding EEO and harassment free workplace.
- Partners with business leaders to align HR strategy and business strategy. Identifies goals to support talent, including hiring plans, reward and recognition, development planning, and performance management planning.
- Assesses and supports the business regarding organizational structure, talent strategies, attraction, and retention strategies.
- Conducts comprehensive employee relations investigations and consult with HR, management, and staff to resolve issues.
- Administers policies and procedures as stated in the Employee Handbook, in a fair and consistent manner.
- Conducts job duties in accordance with the Corporate Values and Culture.
