Overview

The strategic sourcing coordinator plays a critical role in creating awareness of our client’s current job openings, increasing the quality of candidates we present to our clients, in the most cost-effective way. This position encompasses a range of strategic and administrative responsibilities to ensure JPS has the best-in-class strategy in the industry for utilizing the most effective external job boards and recruitment resources.  The strategic sourcing coordinator selects, evaluates and manages ongoing partnerships with these external third parties. They use these relationships, along with data and analytics, to solve problems and achieve business goals.

 

This position is also responsible for ensuring we have exceptional data integrity and data efficiencies with these critical recruitment resources through the use of both automation and manual tactics.

Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

  • Conduct ongoing market research to know which job boards exist, who operates them, their pricing options and how to advertise on them.
  • Make key decision on which job boards JPS will use based on quality of the sourcing tool and cost
  • Maintain relationships with all job board vendors, including monthly/quarterly meetings and ensuring maximum use of each tool or resource.
  • Contract Negotiation with job boards and external vendors, negotiating fair and cost-effective contracts.
  • Responsible for ongoing performance evaluation of external job boards and other tools, including ROI analysis.
  • Alignment with company objectives and business needs to form the right strategy to achieve organizational goals and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Train recruiting new hires as well as conduct ongoing training for current recruiters and Business Developers on best practices with job boards.
  • Support Recruiters and Business Development team members through strategic meetings to help them achieve personal and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate and work closely with marketing team ensuring synergy and consistent messaging in the way the JPS brand is presented to the industry.
  • Maintain and update internal tools and resources that keep our Recruiters and Business Development Team informed of our advertising reach and niche targeting by specialty.
  • Support and manage one direct report focused on data integrity and automation.

 

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:

  • Accurate and timely reporting of ongoing job board performance
  • Responses to internal requests from other departments are prompt and courteous at all times
  • President is appropriately informed if significant problems arise with job board vendors
  • Accurate and timely payment to job board vendors
  • Customer focus, always be polite to clients and associates
  • Job postings appear as they should and are posted in a timely manner on external job boards

 

Requirements

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Bachelors Degree in business, marketing or related field of study.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of recruiting and/or job boards (in the healthcare industry preferred)
  • Ability to operate computer applications and other basic business equipment
  • Experience with digital advertising on job boaeds required

EXPERIENCE:

  • Two (2) years + of previous experience managing partnerships or vendor relationships
  • Experience reviewing contract terms and agreements preferred
  • Strong background of communication and collaboration with colleagues across multiple departments
