The Client Development Executive (CDE) is responsible for prospecting, developing, progressing, and overseeing their assigned accounts in accordance with and supporting the objectives of the Sales Plan strategies. This includes business partner development and building strategic relationships with C-Suite executives at key target accounts with a focus on Mega Health Systems. This position is an integral part of the Client Development team and is responsible for prospecting, developing, and managing (quarterbacking) sales stages per account, including overseeing on-site c-suite meetings, innovation center discussions, operational discovery audits, and client site visits for prospective clients, as well as the contracting process to close. The CDE reports to the Senior Vice President of Client Development and is responsible to provide weekly account updates and periodic forecast updates of their Sales pipeline.

 

Description

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

  • Manage sales effort to attain annual financial goals:
    • Research and evaluate current and potential markets for strategic partnering opportunities
    • Participate in partner relationships as needed
    • Effectively utilize assigned budget for demand generation activities
    • Identify path to success for funnel development, deal progression and contract execution
  • Contribute practical experience in developing new strategic relationships:
    • Create strong relationships with all clients, trade professionals, and external contacts
    • Qualify hospital prospects with a focus on Mega Health Systems
    • Establish relationships with C-Suite executives in key profile accounts as an SME with a focus on Mega Health Systems
    • Participate in 2-3 day Operational Discovery Audits
    • Assess with Care Logistics CFO the expected ROI and potential KPI's for prospective accounts
    • Deliver high quality executive presentations and facilitate executive discussions
  • Facilitate the prospective client engagement and contracting process:
    • Understand the clients vision and goals relative to throughput and care progression
    • Track progress via sales framework, CRM and strategic relationship tools
    • Translate prospective client objectives into contractual terms
    • Review pricing options with clients
    • Manage the sales close plan sequence of events
  • Develop and manage account-based sales strategy:
    • Ensure that all prospective client account activities are coordinated and well-executed
    • Serve as executive liaison between the prospective client account and Care Logistics
    • Provide regular updates to SVP and team
    • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with Company internal departments and teams
  • Spearhead strategic account activities
    • Coordinate all internal preparation meetings for prospect accounts
    • Conduct regular reviews of account activities and team effectiveness
    • Attend and make conferences and tradeshows beneficial to the sales funnel
    • Respectfully provide recommendations for improvements in service delivery, programs, and procedures
    • Ensure existing clients are serviced in accordance with Company standards and policies
  • Attend hospital association events, professional meetings and seminars as necessary

Requirements

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Either 5-7 years of senior level hospital operations experience or executive level sales experience required
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and executive presentation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the healthcare market, and market segmentation strategies
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment and perform multiple roles and functions
  • Possesses strong leadership skills and can educate a high-performance account delivery team
  • Strong organizational and quality management skills with ability to handle multiple, competing tasks and priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders (hospital executives, nurses, implementation staff, etc.)

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive network of hospital C-Suite executive relationships
  • Consultative experience
  • Hospital and Health System C-Suite sales experience
  • Previous experience in developing strategic partnership relationships
  • Experience with large IT system installations
