The Research Consultant (Entry-Level Physician Recruiter) role is a highly interactive sales and recruiting opportunity near St. Louis, Missouri. We're looking for a high energy, competitive and driven individual who's eager to learn our industry and develop a successful long-term career with JPS. No physician recruiting experience? No problem -- we offer the tools and training to prepare you for success.

 

The primary responsibility of the Research Consultant is to source and generate physician candidate leads using various resources such as company databases, websites and publications to find well-qualified candidates for client opportunities. The RC will be guided and trained by their mentor, a JPS Director or VP of Recruitment.

 

Essential Duties

  • Partner consultatively with clients to conduct searches and fill physician staffing needs
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding search activity
  • Achieve productivity goals and metrics
  • Call physicians to proactively source viable candidates
  • Conduct thorough phone screens with attention to detail and prompt follow up
  • Update the internal client and provider database with recruitment related activity
  • Oversee and manage the credentials and availability of physician candidates
  • Use creativity to create effective job advertisements for open opportunities
  • Travel overnight to conduct onsite client profiles

Requirements

  • 2+ years successful sales or recruiting experience preferred; more experienced candidates welcome to apply
  • Healthcare and/or staffing industry experience a plus
  • Competitive drive
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Professionalism and confidence to effectively communicate with medical professionals and hospital executives
  • Stable employment history with verifiable references
  • Computer, organizational and client/customer service skills a must; Salesforce/CRM experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
