This is a direct hire position that is located at our headquarters in Alpharetta, GA.


Duties and responsibilities

The Sales Specialist is an inside sales lead generation position working within Virtual Medical Staff and is responsible for promoting Company products and services as a professional sales representative to all existing and prospective accounts. Utilizes telephone, email, fax and mass marketing to develop and maintain productive working relationships with current and prospective customers. Researches leads and opportunities, creates targeted mailings, and performs monthly/quarterly reporting. Conducts sales calls to seek the placement of tele-health medical providers as independent contractors throughout the country. Assists team as needed. Is responsible for meeting margin and sales requirements and assuring that all appropriate written documentation is in place. Exercises independent judgment in accordance with company policies and values.


  • Generates leads for Sales Team by making outbound telephone calls to hospitals and health systems by using the company database
  • Updating and verifying information in the company database on a consistent basis with pertinent information
  • Collaboratively works with Sales Team to assist with business development of their territories to maximize opportunities
  • Researches internet job boards and postings to find potential leads and contacts them to convert into potential revenue
  • Achieves/exceeds monthly goals and targets by prospecting for potential sales leads
  • Manages daily schedule of calls, meetings, and follow ups
  • Sends appropriate targeted marketing materials to prospective clients and follows up appropriately


  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of staffing, recruiting, or consultative B2B sales skills required
  • Cold calling experience a plus
  • Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Stable employment history or provide educational background
  • Verifiable employment references from previous managers
