    Description

    CVO Licensing Specialists are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, setting goals and objectives, and obtaining initial state medical license, CSR, or renewals for providers as requested.  Duties include:

    • Partial completion of state licensing applications to be sent to providers for completion before processing to State Boards
    • Assuming responsibility for preparing and maintaining assigned records and reports
    • Preparing documents as needed
    • Performing and overseeing specific projects and programs as assigned
    • Assuming responsibility for the effective performance of assigned licensing functions
    • Requesting license applications as required and pre-populates prior to sending applications to provider for completion
    • Preparing and transmitting all required documents for delivery and tracking using FedEx or Express Mai
    • Requesting checks as necessary for verifications and fees associated with licensing file
    • Attending weekly team meetings and updating team on assigned bookings
    • Updating database and scanning documents into the document management system to maintain current information
    • Serving as a liaison between provider and medical board and forging a relationship that expedites provider's medical license.

    Requirements

    • High school graduate or equivalent required, some college education preferred
    • 1 year experience in assisting healthcare professionals with obtaining and maintaining proper professional licensure required
    • Extremely proficient with the internet, email, Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong administrative skills
    • Excellent written and communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills
    • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Project management skills and well organized
