    To continue to grow, improve, and achieve our mission, we require a wise and insightful leader to bring technical expertise and servant leadership to the executive financial ranks of the company.  The Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).



    The Chief Accounting Officer provides technical and operational leadership in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Payroll, and Benefits Administration. 


    1. Team Management – direct and develop managers and associates responsible for cash management, accounting, payroll, and financial systems
    2. Budgeting and Financial Reporting – facilitate the budgeting and forecasting process, provide timely analyses, reports, and dashboards; prepare 1 and 5-year cash flow statements, prepare ad hoc analyses
    3. Cash Management – prepare and oversee detailed daily activity reports and forecasts, manage bank accounts, prepare and approve wire transfers and ACH files, coordinate draws, prepare quarterly reports, including covenant calculations
    4. Payroll Management – manage department of 4 responsible for paying over 1000 associates in 20+ company codes
    5. Benefits Management – participate in oversight and management of associate benefit plans, including health insurance, 401k plan, etc.
    6. Accounts Payable – manage department responsible for paying bills for multiple operating units
    7. Corporate Accounting – manage department responsible for general accounting for all JH departments and certain operating units, prepare consolidated reports
    8. Business Systems Support – oversee team that manages financial, accounting, payroll systems, including user administration, system maintenance, upgrades, and fixes
    9. Risk Management – prepare business risk assessments for accounting and balance sheet reviews



    • Twelve to Fifteen years related experience
    • Five plus years’ experience in a senior leadership role such as corporate controller, CAO, FP&A leader.
    • Ten plus years supervisory experience of the cash management, accounting and business systems functions and significant experience working with IT and HR
    • Experience with entrepreneurial businesses (healthcare or staffing industry experience – nice to have)
    • Demonstrable professional accomplishments for which he/she was the principal signal-caller
    • Solid career progression (responsibilities, not job titles)
    • CPA required
    • Preferences: public accounting experience, graduate business degree
