    Description

    Under general supervision of the DVP of Learning & Development, plans and delivers effective training sessions.  As a L&D trainer focusing on sales, you have an important role.  You are responsible for training and development of our sales force from their completion of new hire training up through our sales management team.

     

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Deliver course curriculum for new hires, experienced representatives and sales managers
    • Teach sales trainees how to develop prospective client and customer lists, telephone prospecting, negotiating, overcoming objections, and closing the deal
    • Delivering learning activities and communications that promote overall sales growth and performance
    • Support sales training initiatives
    • Facilitate 1:1 coaching sessions, team trainings, office and organization wide training
    • Conducts call listening calibration sessions  
    • Assess training needs by consistently shadowing Recruiting and Client Consultants and observing, calls, demos and meetings
    • Learn the J&C sales processes to serve as a subject matter expert and develop and deliver curriculum and learning opportunities that allow participants to apply their learning to their role successfully
    • Utilize strong coaching skills that are constructive and motivating to participants

    Requirements

    • Proven track record of developing talent in a fast-paced organization
    • Knowledge and application of adult learning theory, group behavior, motivational theories, selling techniques, and communication techniques
    • Background in presentation and workshop facilitation
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Preferred 2-3+ years of proven and progressive career in Sales or Sales Management
    • Required 2-3+ years in Sales Training
    • Preferred Specialized education in marketing, sales, and adult training/education skills as would be acquired in college and/or prior experience as a sales trainer
    • Exceptional written, verbal, phone and presentation skills
    • Experience with an online CRM
    • Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities
    • A metrics-oriented, competitive attitude
    • E-Learning experience a plus
    • Familiarity with the recruitment / staffing industry preferred
