    A Care Logistics Software Engineer is fully committed to building highly-usable, modern, web applications. In this pursuit, the associate is expected to make a dramatic, positive impact on our application suite of products while maintaining our high standards for design and implementation. It is critical to the success of the individual and the organization that their contributions consistently result in applications that are functionally rich, high performance, scalable, maintainable and desired by our target market. This position will report to the Vice President of Software Development.




    • 80% of time for back-end web application development
    • Contribute to Care Logistics' overall technical direction to ensure state of the art architecture and design of our applications while achieving excellent performance, scalable, and maintainability.
    • Implement well designed, back-end applications leveraging proven design patterns wherever appropriate while using our standard technologies consistent with our overall product architecture.
    • Play a major role in new product development as well as troubleshoot and maintain existing applications.
    • Mentor less experienced associates as needed.
    • Fully support and participate in our agile development process.
    • Continually strive to improve our processes and enhance our team environment.
    • Ability to handle agile changes from sprint to sprint. Does not take refactoring, redesign, or other changes personally or see them as wasted.
    • Team-oriented individual with a history of playing a major role in the back-end design and implementation of software applications. The candidate is expected to make regular, significant contributions to architecture and design.



    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

    Experience Required:

    • Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing web applications using Java.
    • Solid understanding of both object-oriented, and the ability to apply them as applicable to the software's needs.
    • Ability to effectively use modern debugging tools to find and fix performance and memory issues.
    • Team oriented individual able to participate as a contributing member in order to generate the best outcome for our applications and Care Logistics.
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented individual possessing good interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Experience preferred:

    • Knowledge of GraphQL standards
    • Knowledge of Spring Boot, Kotlin
    • Knowledge of JavaScript, React or equivalent frameworks
    • Past experience mentoring junior developers
    • Experience with an agile development methodology like Scrum
